Guanaco Pronounced “gwa-NAH-ko,” guanacos are relatives of camels and live in the steppes, scrubland, and mountains of South America. Llamas were domesticated from guanacos.

Flamingo Flamingos get their pink color from pigments in the algae or shrimp they eat.

Puma These big cats live in North and South America. Because of their large range, they have dozens of common names, including mountain lion and cougar.
