Brown-throated Sloth Like all three-toed sloths, these sloths have three claws on each foot. Sloths live most of their lives hanging upside down from tree branches, although they are also good swimmers.

Jaguar Relative to their size, jaguars have the most powerful bite of any big cat.

Two-toed Sloth Two-toed sloths have two claws on their front feet and three on their back feet. Sloth fur has special grooves where blue-green algae can grow. This helps them camouflage in the forest.

Scarlet Macaw These social parrots live in pairs or family groups.

White-lipped Peccary Peccaries are not pigs—they have smaller ears, shorter tails, and live only in South America.
