American Eel American Eel American eels live most of their lives in freshwater rivers, but travel far out into the Atlantic Ocean to lay their eggs.

Atlantic Sturgeon Sturgeons have existed for over 120 million years. They do not have scales like most other fish. Instead, their bodies are protected by bony plates called scutes.
