Arctic Beringia

Polar Bear Polar Bear Polar bears are the largest living species of bear, and the only one to eat mainly meat.

Walrus Walrus A walrus’s tusks are elongated canine teeth. Walruses use their tusks to defend themselves from polar bears, dig holes in ice, and help them climb out of the water. Males also use their tusks when fighting with other competing males.

Wolverine Wolverine Wolverines are cold tolerant and will even build dens in snow. They also use the snow like a refrigerator to store carcasses until they can return and finish their leftovers.
